I recently worked on an exciting project at the University of Bedfordshire titled "Free Fruit Wednesday." This initiative, organized by the university, aims to promote healthy eating by distributing free fruit to students every Wednesday. For this project, our team was tasked with creating a promotional video to highlight the benefits and excitement of this weekly event. Our team approached the project with a collaborative spirit. We began by writing a comprehensive script that captured the essence of "Free Fruit Wednesday" and its positive impact on campus life. After finalizing the script, we proceeded to film the video, ensuring we showcased the vibrant atmosphere and the diverse range of fruits available to students. Each team member was then assigned the task of editing the footage, allowing us to explore different creative styles and perspectives. This resulted in a variety of unique video versions, each reflecting individual editing styles while maintaining the core message of the project. The final product I created presents my personal take on the footage, highlighting the initiative's enthusiasm and the communal benefits of free, fresh fruit on campus. This project not only provided an opportunity to practice and showcase our videography and editing skills but also contributed to a meaningful cause within the university community.
